Slick Ice is a 2015 AQHA Smoky Grulla Mare. She is by Twist of Sterling and out of Miss Big Minnie. We call her Icy. Icy was born (in a cozy barn) during an ice storm in 2015 and everything was frozen solid. Tom kept telling me "watch out for that Slick Ice!" when I would go out there to check on her and Minnie. That's how she got her name. Icy is 5 Panel NN via parentage. She has also been coat color tested and she is Homozygous Black, Homozygous Dun, and she has 1 copy of cream. EE aa DD nCR. Icy was started under saddle as a 2 year old by Obbie Schlom. Obbie taught her a couple tricks during her training under saddle. One time when I pulled up to come pick her up, Obbie had her loading up a ramp in the back of a pickup! Since I have brought her home from Obbies, I had intentions on riding her and just never did. Life got in the way and she got put on the back burner. So, I bred her since she was standing around doing nothing. Icy is safe in foal to Legal N Twisted for a 2019 guaranteed Grulla foal.
