Rawhides Slide is a 2014 AQHA Grulla stallion by Rawhides Slvr Bullet. We call him Switch. Switch is a beautiful 15 hand stallion with superb conformation and stunning eye appeal. Rawhides Slide aka Switch started out his career as a cutting horse in training with Russ Carroll. During his 3 year old year we decided he was getting bigger than desired for a cutting horse and may not get marked fairly in the cutting horse world. We made the move straight over to team roping training at Clay Logan Performance Horses. Clay and his team went straight to work on Switch and we started hauling him for the AQHA world show in 2018. In just a few shows he earned his AQHA ROM in Open Jr Heeling. With a miss at the world show we didn't get the title we wanted but we have noticed that the judges really like him and mark him very high. He also qualified for the AQHA world show again in 2019 and made the finals and placed in the top 12. He was just a couple points away from being qualified for the AQHA world show again for the 3rd time in 2020 but then Covid hit. We brought him home, bred some mares to him for his first breeding season which was a success! In 2022 he went back in the show ring again and is currently showing. He has recently earned his AQHA Superior Award!! He is juggling the breeding barn and hauling very well!!!
Breeding
Rawhides Slide aka "Switch" is standing in 2024 at KB Ranch in Comanche Texas with Kari Robertson. Kari had done an amazing job with Switch collecting semen and breeding mares. Switch's 2025 breeding fee is $1,000. That includes the first shipment. Switch ships well and Kari will send 2 doses with every shipment as long as its available. Switch will have cooled shipped semen available February 1-July 1 on Monday-Friday via FedEx or UPS. We will do our very best to cater to your mare's needs. We also have FROZEN semen available as well!
